Have been recently searching for a fabric for a bench cushion meant to pad the bench at our kitchen table. Looking for casual but interesting in a blue or green and love these prints from Parlor textile. So pretty and eco-friendly (organic cotton and hemp blend).

ADORE the photos of actress Keri Russell's home in this month's Elle Decor. The look is a great mix of rustic reclaimed woods, a layered neutral color palette, and chic, yet laid back furniture and light fixtures. Its especially impressive that her handy husband renovated and restored it himself. More lovely photos here.

I took a closer look the design group that did the studio I posted yesterday and thought I would post some of my favorite rooms from their portfolio. Next project- whitewashed brick

We have an exposed brick fireplace that is screaming for whitewash like the walls in this photo. Such a nice muted look, really toning down the color of the bricks. Am going to try the instructions on frugal farmhouse via apartment therapy.

I need a trapeze swing in my living room! How did I not think of this?! Ever since my creative friends took me to trapeze school for a bachelorette treat, I have not been able to practice. Could be slightly dangerous, but totally awesome!

Glass bottles

These photos are from the house of a photographer and newlywed who bought the bottles at a flea market for wedding decor and reused them in their house as a focal point. Love both the wedding idea and the re-use! I can just picture them in the center of a table at a wedding, randomly filled with wild flowers and interspersed with twinkling tealights. This bathroom makes me swoon. Gorgeous tub, huge dramatic windows, relaxing green walls, and a heated floor.

Love the clean design of this kitchen wall, especially the fresh herbs in cache pots. Everything is out and handy, but very neat and uncluttered. via simplygrove. These rails are slightly different, but similar system available at Ikea.

I've been looking for a small rug for our office/guestroom and I think this one is pretty fun...
