Loving this diy project on 100 Layer Cake. It involves $2 and $4 glass bubble balls from CB2 and fishing line. Ok, maybe its a little more involved than that, but it seems pretty straight forward directions-wise and I want to make one to hang over my kitchen table! Instructions here.

Saturday afternoon we had an amazingly relaxing lunch and cocktails outside at the Inn on Castle Hill in Newport, RI. Great people/boat watching. 
The long weekend stretched into this week, our holiday culminating in the U2 concert at Soldier Field. Awesome, of course.
